The Goal List

My favorite thing to do is making goals. Seriously, all my enthusiasm in life stems from making and working toward goals. It's how I...
  • Learned French almost completely on my own (I did end up taking college-level courses later, but for the language credits only. I feel like I had a solid grasp on the language before I took any courses).
  • Learned German fluently and completed an LDS (Mormon) mission.
  • Lost over 70 pounds and am maintaining my dream body.
  • Found and married the man of my dreams.
  • Graduated college with my husband not only debt-free, but with a pretty impressive amount in savings.
  • Became a runner.
  • Became a writer.
It's also how I hope to...
  • Buy a wonderful home in a family-friendly area in the next year - with cash.
  • Learn Spanish fluently.
  • Write and publish a book on achieving balance through goal-setting.
  • Become a mother.
  • Run the Berlin Marathon.
  • Become a contributing writer for my favorite blogs and magazines, including Runner's World, POPSUGAR, and the Ensign.
  • So much more!
Every week, I try to make a goal list based on my short-term and long-term goals. I'll be posting that list each week (with a few edits, especially in the "Relationship" category).
